Glasgow Guild Garnethill

Welcome to the Glasgow Guild Shop. Our business, The Glasgow Guild, www.glasgowguild.com  was formed in 2012 and we are now taking the step towards having a showroom shop with adjoining upholstery workshops.

After a couple of months searching around the Glasgow area for a workshop/showroom we have finally found a property that meets all the variables required. On a corner on the main road from the West End into the city centre, 101A West Graham Street is located in the eclectic Garnethill area of Glasgow, a unique part of the city that is home to: the Glasgow School of Art, the independent art house cinema, the Art Deco GFT, Scotland's oldest synagogue, the Jesuit St Aloysius College and the city's main community of Chinese.

Situated on a busy corner, the shop has a bright and open aspect, ideally situated for showing off our wide range of furniture and furnishings.
Keys on July 1st, but able to work on the design and perhaps the exterior over the next few months. Plan is to have the shop up and running for the end of the summer and focused on the official opening 1st week of September.

Above are images of before and after and we have quite a lot of work to do! Restoring the original stained glass, reglazing the large doors and the front window, painting the exterior and carving and gilding the lettering above. Oh, and moving that abandoned fridge!
